A Georgia State Representative was recognized recently by a local technical college for his support of the school and of technical education in the state.

District 10 Rep. Victor Anderson (R-Cornelia) was recognized at the North Georgia Technical College Foundation's 1943 Gala, for what the Clarkesville school called "his dedicated advocacy of technical education and North Georgia Technical College."

“I am grateful to North Georgia Technical College for acknowledging my commitment to supporting both the school and technical education,” Anderson said. “This recognition by NGTC’s Foundation Board of Trustees is a testament to our collective efforts in advancing technical education in Georgia. I look forward to continuing our partnership in ensuring a skilled workforce for our community’s future.”

The gala was organized by the NGTC Foundation's Board of Trustees.
