Willie Ruth Chapman Aiken

Mrs. Willie Ruth Chapman Aiken, age 99, of Buford, GA, formerly of Hog Mountain Community in Dacula, passed away on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Grover Aiken and James Clyde Fowler; sister, Mary Etta Fowler; grandson, Scott Nash; son-in-law, Jack Nash; and Emma Geer. Mrs. Aiken is survived by her daughter, Betty (Ken) Hayes of Buford; son, James Larry Fowler and wife Bobbie A. Monroe Fowler; grandchildren, Adam and Samantha Nash of Rome, James Fowler of Ellenwood, Barbara Fowler and Mike Kenyon of Stockbridge; great grandchildren, Alex Bayless, Kristen and Drew Prichard, Virginia Nash, Zach Nash; great great grandchildren Oliver Nash, Dash Pritchard, and Evelyn Pritchard; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Aiken was born on October 2, 1924 in Anniston, Alabama and was a retired seamstress with Pelham Manufacturing Company. She was a member of Calhoun Ave. Baptist Church in Rome, and was a former member of Hog Mountain Baptist Church in Dacula. A Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, April 28 2024 at 2:00 p.m. in a Stateroom of Flanigan Funeral Home. Interment will be on Monday, April 29 at 11:00 a.m. at Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 27 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
