ATLANTA – Atlanta United announced Monday that forward Jamal Thiaré and defender Derrick Williams are each expected to miss the next two-to-four weeks after suffering injuries in the club’s match against New York City FC on Saturday.
Thiaré suffered an injury to his left hamstring. Williams suffered an injury to his left calf. Each player’s rehabilitation process will determine his recovery timeline.
Atlanta United (3-2-1, 10 points) returns to action on Sunday when it hosts Philadelphia Union at Mercedes-Benz Stadium (2:30 p.m. ET).
